How to read and check our content

Useful guidance, with visible limits.

These standards guide new articles and substantive revisions by the KnowSales Team. Older articles are updated as issues are identified; the sources, examples and dates on each page show what that article actually supports.

Sources before conclusions

Product claims should match the available product behavior and documentation. For third-party tools, changing specifications or policies, cite the relevant original source and distinguish its claims from our interpretation. Missing evidence should remain a question to verify.

AI assistance and accountability

AI tools assist with drafting, translation and formatting. Fluent wording is not evidence of accuracy. Our publication standard is to check claims, links and examples against their sources; the KnowSales Team remains the named publisher. A team byline does not imply independent expert review of every article.

Examples are not customer results

Label fictional walkthroughs and sample data clearly. Do not turn an illustrative answer into a product performance claim or an actual customer case. Real customer material requires permission before publication, and unsupported results or testimonials do not belong in our guides.

Dates should describe content changes

Keep the original publication date. Show an updated date for a substantive revision, such as a corrected procedure or changed product explanation. Formatting fixes and site deployments alone do not make an article newly updated. An updated date is not a guarantee that every external fact is still current.

What to check before using a guide

Confirm that the example matches your product, customer and account access. Read the cited source, compare the suggested steps with the current interface, and verify commercial or technical commitments before sending anything to a customer. Report a discrepancy if the guide and your actual experience differ.

Help us correct an article

Email support@knowsales.ai for content corrections or product support. For a content issue, include the page URL, the statement in question and a reference or short description of what you observed. Omit customer details, login information and private documents so we can assess corrections using information that can be checked publicly.
